PENGARUH KOMUNIKASI DAN LINGKUNGAN KERJA TERHADAP PRODUKTIVITAS KARYAWAN DI KANTOR KECAMATAN TANAH SAREAL KOTA BOGOR

Abstract
This study aims to analyze the impact of communication and work environment on employee productivity at the Tanah Sareal Sub-district Office in Bogor City. Research addressed issues related to suboptimal employee communication and an inadequate work environment, which are believed to affect performance. A quantitative approach with associative methods was applied. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to all employees, both civil servants (ASN) and non-civil servants (non-ASN) totaling 52 respondents. Analytical techniques included validity and reliability tests, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing using t-tests and F-tests. The analysis shows that communication has a positive and significant impact on productivity, while the work environment has a positive but statistically insignificant effect when considered individually. However, both variables jointly contribute significantly to productivity. These findings highlight the importance of improving communication and fostering a supportive work environment to optimize employee performance. Therefore, managerial strategies that promote effective communication and create a physically and psychologically conducive work atmosphere are essential for enhancing productivity within public service organizations.
